This blog must really boring. You can read about how much I ran, how tires I am and that's it. I can't imagine why anyone would read it! Training IS boring after all, except maybe for the person who trains. Maybe that's why they only show the sports event on TV.

Nope, not boring. Truth be told, seeing how you took up this activity in your current age is actually inspiring. While the technical minutiae mightn't be that much interesting, the overall effort is worth the attention.
Was meaning to ask, where does your training methodology come from? (I'm a complete layman when it comes to running, so consider I have zero knowledge of the topic. I'd be able to run for my life, I guess, but that's it.)
Thanks for the encouragement!
As for the training method: I mostly use the Advanced Beginner training schedules from running.about.com, but I don't always stick to it closely. If you look around for training plans (e.g. Hal Higdon's site, or the Smart Coach from runnersworld.com), you realize that training is not rocket science, and you can also figure out the basics of writing training plans. If you start running regularly, you can also get a feeling about how your body reacts to training. So I adjust my plans accordingly.
