Easy run today is finished with only minor discomfort in my left hip. So this 50-mile week is going to be counted as success. The only thing I wanted to be better at this point in my training is 6:20 tempos, but I hope the 6:25's I run now are good enough. I'm so excited to start the regular training plan!
Week of 1/20 (-14).
Total of 50 miles.
Long runs: 12 and 9 miles.
LT: 2 x 2 miles LT intervals at 6:20 with 2-3 minutes of jogging between the intervals. Total of 8 miles.
Easy runs: 3 times 7 miles.
