Long run yesterday, 13 miles at 7:30/mile. I felt pretty good despite the fact that I didn't eat or drink anything. This is very unusual of me, but I only brought Gatorade, and I had some mild gastrointestinal discomfort, so I didn't want to risk drinking the sugary drink. This is probably the first time in my life of running this long without any fluid intake. But it was cold (around 32 F, 0 C), so I didn't sweat too much.
Plan for week -12:
Total: 58 miles.
Long runs: 13 and 9 miles.
LT: 2 x 2.5 miles tempo intervals. Start at 6:30/mile, then try to accelerate. I'm afraid I won't be able to.
Easy runs: either one 8-8.5, or do a double of 5 each or so.
